If you are looking for cheap - Get a 1G DSM AWD (Mitsubushi Eclipse, Eagle Talon and Plymouth Laser). They are relatively durable and fast. The rooms are very cheap when Bang It Up
If you are a reliable - Get a Subaru. They also work much better than the DSM.
